This pretty torti mom named Maggie and her three grey
kittens are now ready for permanent homes. Maggie and her kittens were
found outside and taken to a shelter. Castaway Critters took them into a
foster home because the shelter could not keep them due to their young
age at the time they were found. Most shelters cannot keep kittens
under 8 weeks because of the diseases they contract and carry. The
kittens are now about 10 weeks old and have been spayed or
neutered. Maggie has also been spayed and we estimate her age to be
between 1 & 2 years old. They have all received basic shots and
have tested negative for FIV/FeLV. Many kittens that are born outside
suffer a sad fate due to disease, weather and predators so please
