Valentine was rescued from a high-kill shelter in Western PA, where he was discovered by a Castaway Critters volunteer who was picking up some puppies. He was the last dog, in the last run, in the very last corner of the shelter, sitting very quietly in his lonely cage. Valentine was seized by local officials due to neglect. After several baths and many tubs full of dirty water, we learned that he has white hair. 
     Valentine is 4-5 years onld and weighs about 40 lbs.  He is housetrained and is very laid back and mellow.  He is working hard on his manners and is slowly learning some basic commands.  He is obedient and eager to please. He is also neutered and up to date on shots.
