Look at this face!!! This sweet girl is gonna be a big one! She will need lots of room to run and play.

Like Jonah (also on our website), Hadley came to us labeled as a boxer mix. Once she arrived we thought that maybe instead of Boxer, she could possibly be a Mastiff mix so we labeled her as such.

Just recently we were contacted by Ridgeback Rescue, who had seen both Hadley and Jonah on our website. They had told us that a lot of Ridgeback mixes often get mistaken for Mastiff mixes, Hound mixes, or Pit mixes. Ridgebacks have Mastiff in their heritage and that is why they are often mistaken for a Mastiff breed. RB Rescue believes she and Jonah could both very possibly be a Ridgeback mix. With closer inspection of the Ridgeback breed, we have found they both have a lot of the Ridgeback features and now believe she may actually be a Ridgeback mix.

Hadley doesn't have the "ridge" of the pure-bred Ridgeback, but we have found out that this is a recessive trait in mixes and the majority of this breed, when mixed, don't have the ridge. She does have quite a few of the other features, though.

Whatever her breed, we do know that Hadley is a great dog and will make a great family pet!!
