Val's mommy was a Blue Merle Great Dane mix and her daddy was a lab/shepherd mix. She is 10wks. old and has a lovely personality. Her nose may look dirty, but it is actually her coloring. She is yellow with real faint black spots throughout her coat. She was picked up when she was found running the streets, and she appeared to have gotten car oil on her coat. Her foster mother at the time gave her a bath hoping to get rid of the spots and clean Val all up, but the spots remained and are really hers. In her West Virginia foster home, Val interacted with kitties, small children, and other dogs. She was great with all of them. Here in Camp Hill, she is staying in a foster home with three labrador brothers and one kitty. She has been respectful of them and would like to play with them if they would only let a girl play with them. I believe Val is going to be a big girl looking at her thick legs and paws, but I think she is going to be pretty laid back because of the great dane in her.

Her foster mother in West Virginia found the rest of her littermates. They were being given away for free by the mother's owner which is how we identified her breed mix. They said that Val was given to a 16 year old boy that apparently was not able to properly take care of her. We want to find Val her furever home where she will always be loved and wanted.
