Edgar Allen Purr! He finally made it back to the bookstore where his initial rescue began! He was a tiny kitten when a kind soul found him along the concrete wall on the Rt. 83 bridge over the river. He was friends of the bookstore folks and they rushed him to the vet for an exam and emergency care. The vet said from his scrapes and cuts and tar that he was probably thrown from a car hoping he would go in the river. Well, Edgar fell down instead and huddled there until the very kind young man picked him up. Edgar needed lots of TLC and meds to make him all better. He had a few more vet appts to get him on that healing path. He stayed at a foster home so he had all the care and love he needed. It wasn't but a few weeks before he was better and romping with his new foster friends in the home. He has been a joy to take care of and gives us kisses and lots of snuggles with purrs. He loves all his foster siblings and will play with anyone including the big cats if they let him!He should be adopted with another kitten or there should be a fun loving cat in the home to play with him. He knows his name and comes running just like a dog. He will play with any toy that is near him or make a toy out of nothing! He loves his kitty food, canned and dry. He loves his water bowl and the fountain and you must know that is a plaything too. So make sure you have the water where it won't damage things around it! We call him the water dog! He is perfect with his litter box. This kitten is age appropropriate up to date on vaccines. He has been neutered and tested negative for FIV and FeLV.
