This is Half Pint a boxer mix. There is a huge story on this gal. She is 1 yr and 4 mo. old, spayed, up to date on all shots, crate trained and about 80% house broke. She has been in a foster home and still is. She weighs in at 62.4 lbs. now on the 11th of Jan. Humane Officers in West Virginia confiscated 10 abused, very under fed dogs from the same residence, the end of August and Half Pint is 4 out of 10 that lived! She actually weighed 26 lbs. when she was brought to the shelter and was the one in the worst condition and was not expected to survive. One of the officers took her home to be comfortable and give her a taste of a little bit 'heaven on earth' She stopped eating for them but the foster folks were able to get her to begin eating again and when she did she was well on her way to recovery. Her weight is now perfect for her. She is leash trained and very well mannered and knows sit and no. She was named 'Half Pint" because she only weighed half what she should have. The foster folks have requested that she actually be "already adopted" before going to any rescue. Would you like to offer this little girl a forever home?
