Maddie ended up in a high kill shelter in WV when her owner died. She is a sweet little velcro dog...she follows you everywhere. She gets along with other dogs in her foster home, but is terrified of the cats. She is getting brave enough to sniff them when they are sleeping, but yips if they wake up. She is house-trained and crate trained.
She came as a chihuahua mix, but at 17 lbs is mixed with something beefier. She has short chihuahua legs but a thick body...maybe a corgi. Her adoption donation includes spaying, vaccinations, implanting of a microchip, application of flea meds and worming. Maddie is in foster care so please complete an application at our website (www.castawaycritters.org) before meeting her. Completing an application does not obligate you to adopt; however, it is required.
