Lexi is adorable! She's fun, affectionate, friendly, and very playful. She would love to have a rough and tumble playmate! Her favorite toys include a maze, a small, furry ball, and the brown paper that Chewy.com uses as packing. She's also a wonderful lap cat. Lexi was first seen last year as a lone kitten in the backyard of a Harrisburg city resident. A family took her in -- sort of -- but mostly she was outside and being fed by a neighbor who fell in love with her. She made it through the winter and then had a litter of 6 kittens this summer. When the neighbor was told that the family was going to dump her in the woods where the father claimed someone was feeding a large group of cats, the neighbor decided something needed to be done to protect Lexi, and through the efforts of several people, she came to Castaway Critters. Given her past, it's amazing that she's as sociable as she is. She often comes to me looking for affection, and she always responds to attention when I go looking for her. She loves being petted and hugged and will start purring. She does like her alone time, so she'd be a good pet for someone who works fulltime outside the home because she wouldn't mind being home by herself for periods of time. Lexi is spayed, current on her vaccines, and microchipped and has tested negative for feline leukemia and FIV.
