Walnut is about 1 1/2 years old, and not quite 20 lbs and looking for an active family that can keep him busy. He's a typical terrier and a family that is familar with that breed would be to an advantage. He's very friendly, playful and would need some work on his manners. He is crate trained and getting better walking on a leash. He has no food aggression and likes to play and fetch toys. No cats - he's a little too curious with cats. We are presently working on housetraining at his foster home. __________________________ Walnut turned up as a stray at a very high-kill WV pound. He's an active, friendly guy that deserves to be treated like a valued family member. His adoption donation includes neutering, vaccinations, implanting of a microchip, application of flea meds and worming. Walnut is in foster care so please complete an application at our website (www.castawaycritters.org) before meeting him. Completing an application does not obligate you to adopt; however, it is required. Applications are processed in the order received in an effort to find the best match possible for both the dog and the adopter.
