Edgar Allen Purr's story is an all too familiar one.  He was adopted from a shelter as a kitten, then was given by his adopter to some friends because she moved to another state.  These so-called friends ended up being evicted from their home only to leave Edgar behind to fend for himself.  Thankfully, a concerned neighbor started feeding Edgar,  contacted Steelton Community Cats and arranged to bring him to SCC's TNR surgery clinic where we learned that he had already been neutered and that he was microchipped.  The original owner was contacted, had arranged to come and pick him up only to be a no-show with no further communication with SCC.  

Edgar Allen Purr is about 2 1/2 years old and is one of the sweetest cats you will want to meet.  He is very playful and a faithful litter box user.  He is a little shy at first, but once he gets to know you, he will show you lots and lots of love.  He also was a little shy with other cats, but he and his buddy, Angus, became wonderful playmates.  Edgar is up-to-date on his vaccines and has tested negative for both FIV and FeLV.  Please consider giving this gentle boy a furever home.  You will be so happy you did.
