Ginger was found straying around a public housing complex in KY. Some kind people picked her up while they were on a walk, fully expecting this dog to be claimed. She was posted on Facebook, they made calls to neighbors, but no one knew anything about the dog. No one has looked for her or said they recognized her. So Castaway brought her to PA before she ended up in a high kill shelter. They named her Ginger. Ginger looks to be 6-8 mos old and has gotten along well in her foster home. She is small enough to get out of some kinds of fencing so leash walking might be safer, since she likes to wander. Her adoption donation includes spaying, vaccinations, implanting of a microchip, application of flea meds and worming. Ginger is in foster care so please complete an application at our website (www.castawaycritters.org) before meeting her. Completing an application does not obligate you to adopt; however, it is required. Applications are processed in the order received in an effort to find the best match possible for both the dog and the adopter.
