Emerald is a lovely, affectionate cat with soft fur who loves to play! After some initial hesitation, she's become a serious lap cat who starts purring almost immediately.  And she's turned into a wonderful nighttime bed buddy. She's fine with other cats and is a faithful litter box user. 

Emerald was found as a stray on Emerald St. in the city of Harrisburg during a TNR project, but her trapper didn't want to put her back after she was spayed and vaccinated because she was too friendly. Fortunately, Castaway Critters had room to take her into our foste rcare program. Since then she's tested negative for feline leukemeia and FIV and has been microchipped.
