Daniel - Cuddle Bug!
Daniel - Cuddle Bug!

Annette, Daniel is doing great. The whole family is very happy to be blessed with him in our home. Just thought you would like to know the coolest cat ever is in good hands and doing well. Thanks Roland

Dudley
Dudley

Many many thanks for your time and effort as a foster mom. Looking at Dudley and realizing the he could have died if it weren't for you and others who care so much. I have been telling everyone his story so they think twice about buying pet shop dogs. He is doing great!

Divine Miss M
Divine Miss M

Annette, I can't believe it has been over a month since I sent you an update. Demetra (the former Divine Miss M) has become a very integral part of our home and we are so happy to have her here. It seems like she's always been with us. Next week will be a very exciting time for all of us as we add another new member to the family. We are adopting a dog from the HOPE Organization. Her name (until we choose a new one) is Honey. She is a 4 year old Great Dane/German Shepherd/and who knows what else mix. Demetra met her almost 2 weeks ago when she came to check out the house. I think you would have been pleased with her reaction. She puffed up her tail and hunched up like a perfect Halloween cat and followed the dog around the house the entire time. It was actually quite comical. The dog was smart enough to keep her distance but I think she would love to make friends. Scott and I believe that Demetra - being the attention loving cat that she is - will learn that the dog ignores her when she looks mean. We hope her never-ending desire to be the center of attention will eventually force her to warm up to the dog and make friends with her. We will give you an update on that when we've had them living together for a few weeks. She has tried to sneak out of the house twice, so we got her a nice collar. Well, we think it's nice. She's still getting used to it. She continues to be friendly and affectionate with us and our visitors. She is an early riser and is ready to get up and play around 3AM most mornings. We'll have to work on getting her to rest at least 2 more hours than that! She has her occasional outbursts of aggressive play, but she is learning to stop when we tell her it hurts. She will play with us with her claws sheathed, but the teeth still come out now and then. I think she's made a lot of progress with that, though. Thank you once again for bringing this cat into our lives. I hope you are doing well and don't miss Miss M too much. I think she's doing pretty well in her new home. Take Care, Jessica
