Coco was recently given the chance to move to the Cupboard Maker Books in Enola, where she is now living. You can visit her any time the store is open. For store location and hours, go to www.cupboardmaker.com.

It's hard to believe that Coco has been waiting for more than a year to be adopted. She is so much fun, so friendly, and so full of life, someone out there is missing out on a great cat who will bring a lot of joy! She loves to play peek-a-boo behind the shower curtain, is an occasional lap sitter, and likes to spend the night in bed with her person.

Her one quirk is that she doesn't like to be petted from the middle of her back down to her tail. But pet her around the head and halfway down her back, and you are guaranteed to get wet kisses. She can be picked up and carried around without too much fussing, loves to dash around on one errand or another, and enjoys sitting in a window watching the scenery.

It took her about a week to stop continually hissing at the other cats when she was in her foster home and then a few more weeks to get comfortable. After that, she settled in well and adapted to her new routine. Coco gets along fine with most, but not all, cats, so she would do best as an only cat or adopted with a cat she already knows.  We don't know what her experience has been around dogs, but she has seemed fearful when she has seen them at adoption events.

Coco was taken in as a stray by a kind couple that had adopted cats from Castaway Critters. They couldn't keep her because they were already at the maximum of two cats permitted under their rental agreement. But they did take her in her until Castaway Critters had foster space for her, providing her with lots of love, toys, and attention.

Coco is spayed, current on her vaccines, and microchipped and has tested negative for feline leukemia and FIV. For more information on this sweetie pie, contact her foster mom Annette in Harrisburg at alr20@comcast.net. Or complete an adoption application to begin the adoption process.

P.S. In case you're wondering, Coco was not delivered by Amazon.
