Zeke was rescued from a blighted section of Harrisburg's inner city when his caretaker turned foster mom discovered he was struglging to eat his wet food. He would cry out in pain. After seeing the veterinarian, it was decided that Zeke would have to have dental surgery. He is fully recovered and back to comfortabley eating wet food again in his foster home! Zeke is a really sweet and gentle little boy who had a rough start in life. He would love a home of his own where he can spend his days lounging on top of a couch or in a warm sunbeam.

Despite having a full mouth extraction, during times of stress, his stomatitis can flare up. This can be controlled with steriods. Zeke is also in the very early stages of kidney disease. A low protein diet and plenty of water is the best way to handle this.
